We built Cricket Kids around the experience we gained from our own child’s love of cricket and the need we saw to nurture that love early on. We understand what it takes to support and encourage young kids to join in, feel included, and keep them excited to keep coming back every week

Our sessions are created to incorporate short bursts of activity, teamwork, laughter, and lots of smiles. We have found that this creates the perfect combination to keep high-energy children engaged and excited for every session.

All sessions are carefully planned to be fun, safe, and age-appropriate. Every coach holds a minimum ECB Level 1 qualification, Paediatric First Aid qualification and an enhanced DBS certificate, so parents can feel confident their children are in safe hands.

With sessions available for children from the age of 2, we offer the earliest opportunity for children across Warwickshire to get involved in cricket. And once children are ready to move on, we support those leaving our Mighty Kids by providing details of local clubs they could join to continue their cricket.

Sessions are designed to do much more than introduce cricket. Children develop social skills, confidence, coordination, fitness, and wellbeing, alongside key gross motor skills that all support a smoother transition into school life.

The coaching team are lifelong cricket fans who have played competitively in a variety of settings, including county cricket, leagues, school teams, and senior-level cricket. Their genuine passion shines through in every session and helps inspire a real love for the sport.

Laura is particularly passionate about encouraging girls to get involved in cricket from a young age. As a coach and role model, she’s committed to showing young girls that cricket is for them too, building confidence, ambition, and belief both on and off the pitch.
