About
You might already know the Fleur De Lys in Lowsonford for its award-winning pies, or its beautiful beer garden on the banks of the Stratford-Upon-Avon Canal.
Perhaps you’ve heard that we’re a dog-friendly pub or visited us with all the family to take advantage of our children’s playground. You may have popped in for a coffee with colleagues or followed our reputation for fine pints of exemplary ale.
The Fleur De Lys has been many things to many people over the generations, but we want you to know it will always be your home away from home. Whether you’re popping in for a quick drink, a long lunch, or a relaxed afternoon by the canal, you’ll always be welcomed in.

⭐ Award-Winning Pies (eat in or takeaway!)
A true local favourite, our pies have been drawing crowds since the 1950s. Today, all 11 varieties are handmade in our kitchen by our very own Lowsonford Pie Company.
Served in the pub with chunky chips, seasonal veg and a little jug of gravy. Or to takeaway and enjoy at home...all our pies are available to takeaway (chilled or frozen) - stock up the freezer and you never have to go a day without pie in your life. Including vegetarian and gluten-free options.
⭐ Hearty Pub Grub
Alongside our pies, we serve classic pub dishes. From traditional fish & chips to something a little fancier from our seasonal specials, our menu offers something for everyone. We’re always happy to adapt dishes to suit dietary requirements where possible - just ask.
⭐ Weekend Brunch
Served Friday to Sunday, 10am–11:30am, with a mix of sweet options and hearty breakfast baps, our weekend brunch is a great excuse to stop by before or after a countryside walk.
⭐ Sunday Lunch
We take our Sunday lunches very seriously! With massive Yorkshire puddings and lashings of cauliflower cheese, choose from roast pork, chicken, beef or veggie/vegan wellington. Kids roasts available too.
⭐ Events calendar
From creative workshops to business strategy sessions, our calendar is full of reasons to visit your favourite country pub throughout the year. Our annual fireworks event is a local favourite, with great live music, entertainment, and fire performers to dazzle every member of the family from youngest to oldest.

Meet the person behind the business:
In 2014, we traded in the fast pace of a Bristol city centre bar for the joy of a more rewarding country pub life at the Fleur De Lys.
We have since gone on to have great success at the National Pie Awards, with our Steak and Stilton pie coming second in the whole country, which isn’t too shabby for a little country pub…!
Ten years, five pets, two kids and a pandemic later, and we remain proud to be the current custodians of this beautiful pub at the heart of the Lowsonford community, with a fantastic tight-knit team helping us take care of the day-to-day running of this beautiful old building.
What Makes Them So Special?
✅ Award-winning pies, handmade on-site
All our pies are made in-house through our own Lowsonford Pie Company. We won Gold, Silver and Bronze awards for 5 different pies at the 2025 British Pie Awards!
✅ Fresh food served all day, every day
We know sometimes you're late for lunch or early for dinner so there's no service break here. Even on our busiest days, every dish is cooked by our kitchen team and plated to order everyday 10am until 8pm.
✅ We're a pub for all seasons
With 2 open fires, 2 log burners and 500 year old beams, this is the cosiest corner of Warwickshire to while away the winter, whilst our sprawling beer garden is the perfect spot to enjoy a cool drink & quintessentially English scenery in the summer .
✅ A proper “Everyone’s Welcome” kind of place
Dogs, children, colleagues, friends, whoever you arrive with, you’ll be welcomed in and made to feel comfortable from the moment you walk through the door.
✅ Canalside Location
Set between locks 30 and 31 of the Stratford-Upon-Avon canal, enjoy the gentle chug of narrow boats cruising past our beer garden or a leisurely walk along the towpath after your Sunday lunch. Plenty of temporary moorings available.
✅ Children's play area
Set in our acre of beer garden, we have two wooden play areas, one suitable for tots and KS1 kids and a new section for 5-12 year olds.
