Who's behind the business?
Anna Lorimer
Artist and Gallery Owner
Meet the person behind the business:
Introduced to the arts through theatre, I trained at Sylvia Young Theatre School and worked professionally in theatre and television, including a season in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats. This led to a BA (Hons) in Fine Art at Winchester School of Art and an Artist in Residence role at a North London gallery, where regular exhibitions attracted a loyal following.
My background in fine art and professional framing, combined with years of hands-on experience working with homeowners, collectors, and businesses, allows me to understand both the creative and technical aspects of art presentation. What sets Lorimer apart is a highly personal approach focused on honest advice, home staging, and helping clients create spaces they love.
I started Lorimer Art & Framing to create a welcoming space where art feels accessible, personal, and meaningful. I believe artwork should do more than fill a wall; it should reflect who you are and how you live. By combining a carefully curated gallery with expert framing and a relaxed, no-pressure approach, I offer an experience that removes the intimidation often associated with buying art.
