Our networking meetings are held at twelve locations across Warwickshire and the Midlands each month, bring together women in business, employment and those thinking about starting out on their journey of self-employment. Our events are like ‘meeting friends for a cuppa’ and we offer a warm and friendly welcome. You can attend meetings regularly or as life and business allows. Membership is purely optional.
In addition to our regular monthly network meetings we also have an annual calendar of special events including our Women in Business Conference, Pause Personal Development Day, Meet The Author Book Event and Festive Afternoon Tea Party & Shopping Event.

⭐ Networking Meetings
Our monthly meetings are like catching up with friends over a cuppa - relaxed, friendly, and genuinely supportive. Each session includes a guest speaker who shares practical knowledge, plus a helpful handout you can take home. There’s always a chance to introduce your business, and the room is a lovely mix of self-employed and employed women. Everyone is welcome! Meetings run throughout the month, every month, across various Midlands locations. (£15 for non-members, £10 for members)

Meet the person behind the business:
Socially Shared Business Network began in March 2015, after I started my self-employed journey as a business adviser, and I couldn't find the right networking meetings for me. I wanted a network that was welcoming and friendly, relaxed but professional, structured but not regimented. It wanted a place to connect and meet others but have a focused learning opportunity too. A safe space where people wanted to support each other and were happy to share their knowledge. Ten years on and I couldn't be more proud of the network that I have grown. I now have a team of area hosts that help to deliver meetings across the Midlands and we are looking to continue growing, to support even more women in the future. I love to get to know people, to collaborate and connect others that would benefit from knowing one another. I am on a mission to be able to introduce as many people as possible to the world of Socially Shared, so that they too can benefit as myself and thousands of others have, through our community!
