Your Guide To Eating Out To Help Out In Warwickshire

HAS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE TO EAT & DRINK SIGNED SIGNED UP TO THE ‘EAT OUT TO HELP OUT’ SCHEME?

You’ve all heard of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, right? Just in case you haven’t, it’s a government scheme designed to help boost the hospitality industry after a super difficult time. The scheme opens on August 3, 2020 and runs until August 31, with restaurants and venues choosing if they want to participate.

Basically, the scheme means you will get a 50% discount on food or non-alcoholic drinks to eat or drink in – up to a maximum of £10 per diner. It’s valid every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from August 3 to 31, and you can go as many times as you like.

You don’t need a voucher or anything – the discount will be automatically available at participating establishments. They will then claim a reimbursement from the government for the discount they’ve given you.

It sounds like a pretty good deal to me, so to help you decide where you can take advantage of it in our neck of the woods, I’ve put together a bit of a list of places that are participating. There is a government list where you can put your postcode in here, but I’m focusing on the independents and small groups as they need the most help.

The list isn’t comprehensive (yet) and I’ll add to it as I find new places, but hopefully, it will give you a few ideas for some August outing:-
