Allesley Hall Primary School in Coventry initiated first-of-its-kind Vision Board Workshop for Year 3-6 on 7th February 2025, to mark the Children’s Mental Health Week.
This workshop was run by Pallavi Prasad, an award-winning manifestation and mindfulness coach from Coventry. Pallavi is also the author of Bedtime Prompts; a Reiki and Pranic Healer.
About the Workshop
A vision board is a visual representation of goals, dreams, and aspirations on a sheet of paper or board. It is typically created by assembling images, words, and phrases/affirmations that reflect what someone wants to achieve or experience in life. Vision boards are often displayed in a visible place as a source of daily motivation and inspiration.
On a deeper level, the Vision Board is a powerful tool to train the subconscious mind to manifest your goals and make positive thoughts habitual.
Vision board workshops can inspire children to dream big, work hard, and stay motivated—all while having fun!
Vision board workshops are more than just a fun activity—they provide children with a safe, creative outlet to explore their dreams, feel empowered, and nurture their mental health in a positive way.
Vision Board workshops can be incredibly beneficial for children at school for a variety of reasons including:
1. Encourages Goal Setting
2. Encourages Positive Thinking
3. Boosts Creativity
4. Promotes Self-Reflection
6. Teaches Problem-Solving Skills
7. Enhances Emotional Wellbeing

11. Integrates Fun with Learning
Why is the Vision Board Workshop considered an empowering activity for School Children?
Vision board workshops can inspire children to dream big, work hard, and stay motivated—all while having fun!
Vision board workshops are more than just a fun activity—they provide children with a safe, creative outlet to explore their dreams, feel empowered, and nurture their mental health in a positive way.
I always say “If you can see it, you can manifest it”. It is important for children to take time and put their dreams together. Especially in a School setting, where children can come together to think about their dreams and goals and create together in a safe and supportive environment.
Mr. Duncan Cottrill – Headteacher of Allesley Hall Primary School says “At Allesley Hall Primary School, we are deeply committed to supporting children’s mental health and well-being, recognising that a positive mindset is key to both happiness and success.”
“During Children’s Mental Health Week, we are focusing on the importance of emotional resilience and self-expression through a range of activities, including mindfulness, creative art sessions, and the role that kindness and self-kindness can play in improving mental health. By fostering an open environment where pupils feel heard and valued, we aim to equip them with the tools to manage their emotions, build confidence, and develop strong, supportive relationships with others. Together, we are creating a community where every child can thrive.”
About Pallavi Prasad
Hi! I am Pallavi Prasad, an award-winning manifestation and mindfulness coach from Coventry. Pallavi is also the author of Bedtime Prompts; a Reiki and Pranic Healer.
I am passionate about educating young generations about the manifestation techniques such as the Law of Attraction. I have over 15 years of practical experience in manifestation techniques and have manifested innumerable things in my life – Free holidays, soulmate, dream career, and relationships, to name a few. My incredible story about manifesting every single thing from her vision board for her first baby was big news in Media.
Post-lockdown I followed her calling to help others manifest their dream lives.
I have been coaching children, families, companies, and communities with tools such as vision boards, subconscious reprogramming, raising vibrational energy with elements of nature, journaling, affirmation, and gratitude practices.
I am keen on helping create a manifestation lifestyle (and not just one-off coaching programme) that’s simple and easy to incorporate into every day.
I strongly believe that manifestation is a life skill that everyone needs to learn. “Anyone’s story can be rewritten by thinking positively. Every day can be an opportunity to find ecstatic moments.”
“I am driven to educate the young ones. If these positive thinking tools such as gratitude, affirmations, vision boards, and visualisation are introduced in the early stages of children’s lives, they become habitual – a positive habit that they can carry on throughout their life. It also helps build their belief system on positive thinking.”
I am grateful to Allesley Hall Primary School for taking the initiative to facilitate this Workshop.
I also host online classes for adults and children on manifestation techniques and chakras, along with in-person events throughout the year.
