Frances Widdicombe, owner and solo staff member at Skin Deep Beauty Therapy set up shop in Stratford back in October 2018. Whilst working for Clarins as a Mobile Beauty Therapist for several years, Frances travelled all around the UK working in different stores.

But her favourite was in Warwickshire’s Leamington Spa. She fell in love with the area, the people and the community and so, decided to set up shop here. We’re so pleased she did.

After working more and more for Clarins in the Leamington Spa store, Frances was drawn to the beauty of Stratford town. We’re not surprised. With so much going on, plenty to do and see and a wonderful community of local businesses, Frances found her home for Skin Deep Beauty Therapy.

Fitting right into the welcoming community, you can find her therapy room within The Salon Hairdressers in Stratford. She works closely with the lovely team of hairdressers and reception staff but she is the only staff member of her local beauty business.

However, that’s not forgetting an incredible support network behind her; Frances proudly boasted about her two very important, behind the scenes supporters when we spoke to her. Keeping things close to home, Frances’ sister Tick runs her social media accounts and her husband Dave works behind the scenes to help with all the technical stuff including the Skin Deep Beauty Therapy Website.

With 15 years of experience working in the beauty industry, Frances is so happy to be able to offer all the treatments and services she loves within her own business, providing people with a space to relax and feel their best. She has worked all over Australia and the UK for the likes of Clarins, Aveda, Ella Bache, Sothys and Decleor, developing her passion for pampering people and her expertise in delivering exceptional treatments.

The Covid-19 pandemic put plans on hold for Skin Deep Beauty Therapy. With all close contact services forced to shut up shop, Frances took to the internet to continue connecting with her customers and expanding her knowledge. During lockdowns, she had the time to do her research into the products she uses to make sure she selects the very best for her customers.
