Another new business popping up mid pandemic is just another excuse (not that we ever need one) for us to boast about the incredible entrepreneurial and creative spirit in our local communities. Krisztina set up her business in September 2020, offering her customers the opportunity to feel more confident in their own skin without unnecessary, harmful and invasive techniques.
Mastering the art of Maderotherapy, using wooden tools and massage techniques to give a deeper tissue massage and even reduce the appearance of cellulite and stubborn fat deposits not dispersed through a natural and healthy lifestyle. Just like us, Krisztina believes in helping others to feel good in their skin; confident and comfortable with who they are.
Moving from Serbia to Rugby with her family in 2015, Krisztina tells us she could never have imagined starting and running her own business. After searching for solutions to balancing flexible working and family life, Krisztina is now a proud Warwickshire business owner and loving every second of it. That’s not to say it hasn’t been tough too; she did become a first-time business owner mid-pandemic, after all.
Krisztina tells us what a steep learning curve it has been, but hard work has never frightened this hands-on entrepreneur. Work was limited at the beginning and with mobile services not really possible, Krisztina threw herself into advertising her business and services and providing information on Maderotherapy for her audiences on social media. She was able to broaden her reach and share this new technique with potential clients in preparation for when business could get back up and running.
Krisztina’s Body Deluxe offers mobile holistic therapy solutions for pain management, stress relief, body contouring, and cellulite reduction. Krisztina is a fully qualified Massage Therapist and Maderotherapist and she offers the only holistic therapy service in Warwickshire for Maderotherapy/ Wood Therapy. This non-invasive solution for reducing the appearance of cellulite can show results after only three sessions. Krisztina uses natural tools made from steamed beech wood in varying shapes and sizes to provide a deeper tissue massage.

As a beginner in business management, she has spent time learning all the ins and outs of opening a business, marketing her services and providing something new and interesting for her customers. And she continues reading, researching and learning with the hope of expanding her reach and opening a premises for her customers to visit in the future.
