STAMPING YOUR MEMORIES WITH BEAUTIFUL AND MINIMALIST GIFT IDEAS
Carly Scott, owner and creative genius behind Love, Pieces of Eight has been providing beautiful gift ideas since 2014. We have had the pleasure to talk to Carly about her journey as a business owner and where she sees the path taking her next. Carly set up Love, Pieces of Eight after receiving some great feedback from gifts she made for her loved ones. She had loads of friends asking her to create them something special and as a result, her business was born.
Starting out with an Etsy shop, Carly set about creating a space in her home to make her stunning gifts. She works from her home workshop where she has been gathering tools and teaching herself techniques to create beautiful, unique gifts for any occasion. At first, this creative outlet was just meant to be a hobby for Carly, but over time it has developed in to a well-loved business in which her designs are great quality, whilst also remaining affordable. She began by creating hand stamped pieces, jewellery and vintage cutlery and from there, her Etsy shop grew!

Growing up in Rugby, Carly set up her business and has felt tremendous support from the community of creatives around her. Whilst she runs the business on her own and creates all the products she sells; Carly is supported by her partner Daniel who makes her cups of tea and gives her a helping hand when things get busy. And of course, most importantly, she is kept company by her two dogs, Coco and Beres who make sure her days are never dull!
With hand stamped cutlery and beautiful everyday jewellery options, we feel spoilt for choice with Carly’s gift ideas. We especially love her metallic animal drink stirrers, which look tasteful and fun for special events. Carly also agrees that these tend to be her bestselling products, which have been featured on numerous occasions in Perfect Wedding Magazine, Brides and Wedding Ideas Magazine. We also absolutely adore the jewellery that is created at Love, Pieces of Eight. Carly appropriately names her beautiful designs; our current favourite are the Karma earrings. Go check them out on her Facebook page.
Love, Pieces of Eight has been successfully growing its business and audience for the last few years and we expect to see further organic growth in its future. You can find Carly at local markets and craft events, as well as online. She has also just landed her first stockist recently so watch this space as Love, Pieces of Eight grows in the Warwickshire region. You will love her personal touch to everything she does and will adore the handmade, unique gifts she produces with passion.
